Amy Wenzel Workshop Giveaway

What a fun contest from I heart faces and Amy Wenzel!

I love contests. I usually don't win...but that's ok. It's ok because I love that I can say what a positive attitude I have. And for that split second that you hit submit....(deep down I know you all feel this way when entering one), It'a a chance. And while the chances are slim....it's still a chance to take and say..."hmm...maybe it is my turn to win!"

I'm here to write about how I inspire people in my life and how this workshop will help me with my photography.

Well I would hope that I inspire people with my upbeat attitude and happy "look" on life. I always try to make my enviornment that I'm surround by a positive one because I feel that a positive attitude can change so much! You can overcome a lot of negative feelings! When someone is down, I crack a joke. If it's not funny, I'll just dance in the middle of a conversation to make them laugh. I hope this makes people laugh. If not, I guess it takes their mind of their problems while they think how weird I am.lol. I'm not saying that I'm always happy and never sad...I'm human...I do get down sometimes...but I feel that I have a quick recovery and try to help others by letting them realize that things happen for a reason, whatever it may be...and that's ok.

The photography workshop would mean so much to me. Honestly...I don't have sob story to tell about a rough childhood or traumatic event in my life which lead me to photography...I had a great childhood, wonderful parents and got to see and do many things. MY LOVE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY comes from way back when I was a child. My dad always bought me a camera...to this day...28 years later he still makes sure I always have a working camera. As a child, I lined my entire room with pictures, some of people, some of trees, and some of signs. I think I drove my mom nuts as she watch me ruin my walls by tacking pictures up.
I love to capture "moments" and it is true that a picture can tell 1000 words. Recently a few months ago I was able to get my first DSLR camera. Wow. What a difference, and what a new journey I started with my photography. I'm just at the beginning stages because as most of you know...this can be an expensive hobby! And as a Mother...obviously my children and their needs will always come first. Camera and lenses....2nd. Winning this workshop will certainly help me balance both.

In the end...not winning won't prevent me from going to this workshop. But that isn't going to stop me from having a positive attitude about winning and taking a chance. What's meant to happen will be...and if it's my turn to win...so be it!
